Preheat oven 180c/350f
2 cookie sheets
¾ cup Butter –room temp
¾ cup brown Sugar
½ cup sugar
1½ teaspoons vanilla
1½ cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1½ teaspoons Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
3 cups Quaker Oats
1 cup chopped dried Cherries
Using a Kitchen Aid with a paddle attachment or using a hand mixer,
beat butter and sugars until creamy and light in color.
Add eggs and Vanilla and beat well.
In a small bowl mix:
flour,baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture in small increments until all combined.
Add Oats and Cherries and mix well.
With a tablespoon, drop dough onto cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes.
